Privacy policy

Last updated: October 2026.

What we store

• Discord IDs of servers, members, channels, roles, and messages involved in bets and mutes.
• The text of bet terms (up to 200 characters) and optional dispute reasons.
• Timestamps of bet and mute events, plus each server's MuteBetBot settings.

What we don't

• We never read message content. To remind honor-muted members, the bot only notices who posted and where.
• No email addresses, IP addresses, or payment information. There is no money involved.
• Nothing is sold or shared with third parties.

Retention

Data is kept while the bot is in your server. When the bot is removed, the server's data is soft-deleted and permanently purged 30 days later, so a quick re-add keeps your history.

Deletion requests

To have your data deleted or anonymized, open an issue at https://github.com/chrisparsons83/mutebetbot/issues (you can ask for a private follow-up) or contact us through the support page. We delete your rows or replace your ID with an anonymous placeholder, usually within 30 days.
