Bet your silence.

MuteBetBot lets two members of a Discord server wager time, not money. Lose the bet, and the winner gets to mute you: 30m, 1h, 2h, 6h, 24h, fixed before anyone shakes on it.

How a bet works

1. Propose/bet create names your opponent, what you think will happen, and the mute duration. Both of you click Accept to make it binding.
2. SettleWhen it's decided, one of you runs /bet resolve and the other confirms. Disagree? An admin rules.
3. MuteThe winner picks when to use the mute, with the button on the bet or /mute use. The server sets how long they have (30d by default).

Built to stay fun

• Admins cap how many people can be bet-muted at once (default 3).
• A cooldown stops back-to-back revenge mutes, and nobody can be muted twice at the same time.
• The bot never shortens a moderator's timeout, and its messages can't ping @everyone.
• Admins and members above the bot can still bet: they get an honor mute instead.
